FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES
BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH
AND MUNICIPAL RESOURCE GROUP, LLC
This First Amendment (“First Amendment”) to the Agreement for Consulting Services between the City of Redondo Beach, a Charted Municipal Corporation, and Municipal Resource Group, LLC, a Limited Liability Company; and
WHEREAS on February 6, 2024, the City of Redondo Beach (“City”) and Municipal Resource Group, LLC (“MRG”) entered into an Agreement for Consulting Services (“Agreement”) whereby MRG agreed to provide services that will facilitate the City Council in its’ annual performance evaluation of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the services outlined in MRG’s January 24, 2024 proposal included the following services: 1) City Manager Evaluation for $9,000; City Manager 360 feedback for $2,150 (if requested); and Executive Salary Analysis for $1,500 (if requested); and WHEREAS, the Agreement only included the $9,000 service for the City Manager Evaluation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to add the following additional services: City Manager 360 feedback for $2,150 and Executive Salary Analysis for $1,500; and NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants contained herein, and intending to be legally bound, the parties hereby agree to make the following amendments to the Agreement:
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Exhibit “A” is hereby amended to add the following services:
Consultant shall complete a City Manager 360 feedback evaluation for $2,150, the scope of which is included in the Agreement as number four (4) under the Evaluation Methodology. Consultant shall also complete a comprehensive Executive Salary Analysis for $1,500.
2. COMPENSATION: Exhibit “C” is hereby amended to add the following compensation for the additional services as follows: City Manager 360 feedback for $2,150 and Executive Salary Analysis for $1,500.
NO OTHER AMENDMENTS. The Agreement and this First Amendment constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any previous oral or written agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms of the Agreement and this First Amendment, the terms of this First amendment shall govern.
