RESOLUTION NO. CC-2406-054
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed annual budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 which commences on July 1, 2024 and ends on June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed annual budget; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held pursuant to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Redondo Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the proposed revenue and expenditure plan as outlined by the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager’s proposed annual budget for Fiscal year 2024-2025, as summarized in the document entitled “Summary of Estimated Revenues & Appropriations and Estimated Changes in Fund Balances” attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. That the expenditures of public funds in the amount of $170,674,925 are authorized in accordance with the programs and services outlined in said budget.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and shall enter the same in the Book of Original Resolutions.
