EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The 2024-25 Fiscal Year Fee Resolutions have been updated to incorporate the changes made as part of the City Council Budget discussion and to reflect July 10, 2024 as the effective date rather than the August 1, 2024 date included in the original draft Resolutions.
BACKGROUND
On June 18, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolutions amending fees in the Community Development, Public Works, Police, and Community Services Departments for FY 2024-25. Each Resolution listed an effective date for fee increases, also shown on the Exhibit detailing each fee.
The original Resolutions included an effective date of August 1, 2024. The final budget motion called for implementation of the fees as soon as possible. Following approval of the updated Resolutions most fees approved for modification will be adjusted on July 10, 2024. Fees that require changes to existing City Ordinances prior to implementation will be adjusted following the Ordinance introduction

COORDINATION
Staff in the Financial Services Department coordinated with the City Attorney’s Office to update the fee Resolutions.
FISCAL IMPACT
Approval of the item will allow the City to expedite the implementation of most of the approved 2024- 25 Fiscal Year fee adjustments.
