I have watched more than one City Council meeting where Rolf Strutzenberg has discussed "criminal" behavior, including his own "criminal" activity and I am increasingly alarmed that nobody is working with Rolf to conclude.
Rolf is under the impression he is a "criminal" for an administrative issue, and at a recent meeting discussed being out of compliance with a charter as "criminal" for the city attorney, and by default, the city council. He appears relentless, and I sincerely wondering why nobody on city council is addressing his alarming rants, especially given he was endorsed for the school board and is on commissions. I strongly believe the large majority of Redondo would not feel safer if everybody out of compliance from an outdated charter was rounded up, arrested, prosecuted and had their lives ruined. This constant threat of criminality has gone too far. If poor Rolf thinks he is a criminal, I do think somebody in Council should say out loud that he is not, nobody is and the charter is being fixed. I also think he should be removed from any committees if these erratic rants continue. In my opinion, they are senseless, detached from reality and becoming alarming. How far is Rolf going to go if he is ignored? Will he take justice into his own hands? I appreciate council is in a difficult position, but I would like to hear OUT LOUD denouncement of these rants, or they will continue. Rolf is not just a resident, he has positions of power and if he appears to be having issues, it should be addressed.
