PUBLIC COMMENT ALL AGENCIES
BCHD Board member Poster asserted to the RB City Council "your Planning Commission has demonstrated their inexplicable thank you deny abhorrence for bchd so much so that your own lawyers had to remind them during a public meeting and on the record to stop targeting BCHD in their remarks." That statement is documented as FALSE using transcripts and video of the two meetings (see below).

Board Member Poster's false claim in her oral testimony is at the following link on the Official City of Redondo Beach Youtube site: https://youtu.be/5uxFc9rONWc?t=14695 During the 9-19-24 Planning Commission meeting, Tom Bakaly can be heard discussing BCHD and the FAR proposal at the Official City of Redondo Beach Youtube site:https://youtu.be/iZJ11jWf4g8?t=5946
Planning Director Wiener can be heard immediately following Tom Bakaly, providing the City Attorney admonition in response to Tom Bakaly's testimony and other speakers that wished to address the Planning Commission. It had NO RELATION to the speaking of the Commissioners as Board Member Poster FALSELY CLAIMED..

Board Member Poster's statement "your Planning Commission has demonstrated their inexplicable thank you deny abhorrence for bchd so much so that your own lawyers had to remind them during a public meeting and on the record to stop targeting BCHD in their remarks" was PLAINLY FALSE and intended to MISLEAD the City County.

The City Council should use whatever remedy it has to stop Board Member Poster from continuing to mislead the Council.

Our neighborhoods have been burdened since 1960 by the failed South Bay Hospital project and have not received the benefit of the voter-approved acute care public hospital since 1984.Yet we still suffer 100% of the damages and we will suffer 100% of the damages of BCHDs proposal.

I support the Planning Commission's recommendation for a 0.5 FAR to general Public/Institutional (P/I) use. I do not support an increase to 1.25 FAR for all P/I use, since it would "upzone" every P/I parcel and create the potential for reckless development that is not consistent with neighborhood character and would not protect property values. Thank you.

From the very first meeting, BCHD has misled the neighborhoods. BCHD committed to a full buffer around the center of campus development. 70 days later BCHD came with a fully designed concept that was CLEARLY STARTED MORE THAN 70 DAYS PRIOR.

The Community Working Group and Surrounding Neighborhoods WERE DELIBERATELY LIED TO BY BCHD. --
