RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE REDONDO BEACH UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT TO REQUEST CONSOLIDATION OF THE ELECTION OF THE
BOARD OF EDUCATION WITH THE REDONDO BEACH MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 4, 2025

the Redondo Beach Unified School District is subject to the provision of Chapter XVI ofthe Redondo Beach City Charter and,
the Redondo Beach Unified School District will have three (3) seats vacant on the Board of Education effective April 1, 2025. the election for these seats will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and for efficiency and fiscal responsibility, it is in the best interest of the District that the School Board election be consolidated with the Redondo Beach General Municipal election,
NOW, therefore, the Board of Education ofthe Redondo Beach Unified School District does hereby request the Council ofthe City of Redondo Beach that:
1. The March 4, 2025 election for the Redondo Beach Unified School District Board of Education be consolidated with the March 4, 2025 General Municipal election, and
2. The Redondo Beach City Clerk's Office conduct the School Board election on behalf ofthe Redondo Beach Unified School District.
