AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
ATTORNEY AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH
AND LIEBERT CASSIDY WHITMORE
THIS AMENDMENT (“Amendment No. 1”) is executed by and between Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (Attorney) and the City of Redondo Beach (City) effective as of July 1, 2024, and will amend the prior agreement signed by Attorney on November 27, 2013, and any subsequent amendments (collectively the “Agreement”), between the parties.
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend their agreement to provide for the continued consulting, representational and legal services pertaining to employment relations matters, including representation in negotiations and in administrative and court proceedings on an as needed basis; NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. This Amendment No.1 shall be effective as of July 1, 2024.
2. Attorney Hourly Rates and Costs, is to be amended as follows:
Hourly Rates effective July 1, 2024:
Fee Schedule
Partners $440.00
Senior Counsel $365.00
Associates $270.00 - $345.00
Labor Relations/HR Consultant $280.00
Classification and Compensation Consultant $210.00
Paraprofessionals and Litigation Support Staff $150.00 - $185.00
Cost Schedule
Photocopies $.15
3. That in all other respects the prior agreement of the parties shall remain in full force and effect except as amended herein.
