There are quite a few punctuation and other errors on the plaques. Do you care about any of these:
Aviation High School
• "Fall" should not be capitalized.
Hollywood Riviera Beach Club
• There should not be a comma after "club": fiftieth anniversary of the club... • "Fiftieth" should be "50th" in this instance.
• "Governor" should be capitalized: "California Governor Culbert Olson." • There should be a comma after "1984": "In 1984, the clifftop..." — same as the comma after "In 1942, the City of Redondo Beach.." which appears a bit earlier. • Missing information: Won't people want to know which city had the later drinking curfew? Old City Hall, etc.
• "mission style building" - should be Mission Revival style (capital M, capital R). • Comma after building: new, Mission Revival style building, was constructed in 1908. • Why the different font: corner of Emerald Street and Emerald Avenue? • Italicize Los Angeles Herald
..° There should not be a comma after Benita: "door opened onto Benita and was connected to the City Hall with a pergola.
• There should not be a "the" before City Hall unless you want to say, "connected to the City Hall building."
• There should not be a comma after "almost 50 years..." • "City" should be capitalized: The City bought the Bank of America building..." • City Hall should be capitalized: interim City Hall just like it was capitalized earlier: The old City Hall building..."
