The City of Redondo Beach council meeting 2-18-25 / Tony Czuleger 1730 Ruxton lane F The Galleria Mall, The city needs to be open about the information to the continuance In District 4 and send out mailings to all residence around the Mall in a 1 mile radius of the Mall.
I have spoken to many who know nothing about the back room deal with the developer to add 350 more apartment to the project. Its not what we want in Our back yard.
This is no different than the Harbor where, Mayor Brand and Jim light, Nils and others apposed the Harbor project, but here you are silent and are rubber stamping this without the Voters to have a say in the matter.
The city needs to have a clear and open dialog with the residence of North Redondo.
Abuse of power.
obAgi
The Council man Oblagie, you stated you want to get funding to repave Grant Ave. 6 Million. Wow.
What would you say to the Idea of cutting that cost by over 50%! Well I have a path to do just that.
Its paving only the driving lanes, which there are 2, one east and one west. They are the problem child.
Not the entire road. So no need to repave the entire street. That can potentially a savings of over 50% in the Paving cost.
Abuse of funds, no smart use of taxpayer money.
Fire station rebuilding,
Call other cities and ask them for plans to view and use them for reference. The county of Santa Barbara just Built a new station in New Cuyama and spent about 8 million 3 years ago on the station which can hose 6 apparatus with three roll up doors.
But wait theirs more. It also doubles as a new Sherriff station as well, with office space and related amenities for the Sheriff.
As for station one build ere at the City hall like Manhattan beach has done and combine the space. Once built and the station one team moves in. place the station at pearl an Broadway for sale and of set the cost of the new station.
Station 2 build a temporary station like Manhattan Beach did and Usse the old Phone company property to place a structure on the site to house the crew and fire trucks. This is on 182nd street.
Stop signs guess how many stop signs are in the City of Redondo currently. Yep and only 12 to 14 police on duty at any given time to patrol these stop signs and all the other calls A faults sense of security and a big waste of Gas with all the stopping and starting. I guess you all don't believe in Green House emissions.
