APPOINTING DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES AS OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CITY FOR A TERM COMMENCING MAY 6, 2025 AND EXPIRING ON JUNE 30, 2025
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Review and modification of delegate appointments to complete the terms vacated by outgoing City Councilmembers Nils Nehrenheim (D1) and Todd Loewenstein (D2) on the: Independent Cities Association; South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG); West Basin Water Association; Clean Power Alliance Board of Directors; Redondo Beach Sister Cities Committee; Education SubCommittee City and School District; and Audit Committee for terms ending June 30, 2025, and other updates or revisions the Mayor and Council may see fit.
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to the City Clerk’s Certification of March 4, 2025 General Municipal Election results, several delegate and alternate positions were vacated effective April 1, 2025. The resolution also updates the reappointment of Mary Drummer to the L.A. County Vector Control Board of Trustees for a two-year term.
COORDINATION
The City Attorney has approved the resolution as to form.
