While I support a gateway artwork at the eastern boundary of Redondo Beach on Artesia, I oppose the purchase of other artwork for installation in the median. Drivers are distracted enough.
We do not need to further distract drivers. Let's place artwork on the sides, where they can be enjoyed at a pedestrian pace.
