A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
WAIVER OF PARKING METER FEES WITHIN THE
RIVIERA VILLAGE AREA FROM DECEMBER 17, 2025
THROUGH DECEMBER 24, 2025
WHEREAS, the City of Redondo Beach Riviera Village (“Riviera Village”) has 515 metered parking spaces;
WHEREAS, for many years the City has provided free parking during the holiday season in December; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of allowing free parking is to express holiday goodwill and to encourage the public to shop and dine in these areas during the holiday season.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. For the period beginning December 17, 2025 through December 24, 2025, the parking meter fees in the Riviera Village shall be waived.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and shall enter the same in the Book of Original Resolutions.
