Re: Request for Appeal Hearing Extension – 401-417 S. Pacific Coast Highway Dear Mr. Weiner:
We represent Wal2Wal Inc. (“Applicant”) regarding the proposed mixed-use project (“Project”) located at 401-417 S. Pacific Coast Highway in the City of Redondo Beach (“City”). As you know, the Planning Commission disapproved the Project on December 18, 2025, and the Applicant filed an appeal to the City Council on December 22, 2025 (“Appeal”). We received notice that the Appeal hearing has been scheduled for January 20, 2026.
The Applicant requests a continuance of the Appeal hearing to the City Council meeting on February 17, 2026. The additional time will allow the Applicant and the City to potentially work together to address outstanding issues and to avoid the need for litigation.
The Applicant agrees to toll all applicable timelines and deadlines related to the Appeal or approval of the Project in the City’s municipal code and under state law for a period of 28 days (the length of the requested continuance).
