2 BACKGROUND
• July 1, 2025: City Council directed staff to engage a public opinion research firm to survey residents on the potential solicitation of Commercial Retail Cannabis
(CRC) Permit Applications in Redondo Beach.
• August 12, 2025: City Council approved the agreement
with FM3 to conduct a pubic opinion survey of 500
registered voters.
• Dec 2, 2025: City Council authorized FM3 to release the survey to assess public interest

4 RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that the City Council:
1. Receive and file the results of the public opinion survey
2. Provide direction to staff on next steps (if any) related to the potential solicitation of CRC permit applications in Redondo Beach
