Section 2: Waiver Request Statement
I request a waiver from the business license requirements as specified in Redondo Beach Municipal Code 6-1.08(c).

Describe how your business or organization benefits the community, including charitable activities, community service programs, educational initiatives, and job fairs.

As one of the largest family festivals in the South Bay, Springfest Redondo Beach brings neighbors together for live free entertainment, food and shared experiences. strengthening community pride and engagement Springlest supports local schools and youth programs as 175 RUHS business students. including 20 interns from local high schools learn first-hand about event planning, marketing, logistics, and production, gaining hands-on business and entrepreneurshup expenience. builds career skills and leadership experience. Springfest also promotes local businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profits Section 4: Compliance with all Laws

Any business license wavier approved by City Council pursuant to this application shall only be for a short term, extending from April 16202k to April 19,2026.
