During the regular Housing Authority meeting on December 2, 2025, the Board directed staff to revise the administrative plan to reform the existing policy for accepting applications and purging the waiting list to an annual process. The amended administrative plan is also being presented for approval to the Board on this same agenda. As a result, the revision to the administrative plan significantly changes the Housing Authority’s goals, plans, and objectives to the Five-Year PHA Plan for Fiscal Years 2026-2030 that requires Board review and approval.
As part of the administrative plan update process, the RBHA consulted with the Resident Advisory Board (RAB) on May 19, 2026, regarding the significant amendment to the FiveYear PHA Plan. The RAB had no comments. In addition, public notice and a 45-day public comment period is required prior to review by the Board for approval. Staff recommends the Board of Commissioners approve the significant amendment to the Five-Year PHA Plan after taking public comments and adopt the Resolution.
