clean ups, and student entrepreneurship and scholarship programs.

NRBBA supports the proposed reduced fee structure of $20 for City vendors and $25 for non-City vendors, but only once the technology upgrade, the staff report identifies as necessary, is in place. The current manual process is burdensome for both City staff and vendors; NRBBA alone coordinates more than 30 vendors over four days, and that would grow more difficult without a digital system. Our Economic Development Task Force would be glad to help test new software once it's in development.

We don't believe the per-vendor fee should take effect ahead of that system. If the technology timeline slips, we respectfully request one of two alternatives:
waive individual vendor fees for SpringFest, or assess the fee to NRBBA directly and waive it in full in recognition of SpringFest's status as a City Signature Event.

Every dollar SpringFest raises goes back into North Redondo Beach.

We appreciate the Council's continued partnership and are happy to provide additional information as this moves forward.

Warm Regards,
Mrs. Mickey (Marraffino) Johnson
President NRBBA, on behalf of the Board of Directors
