I'm confused. Either we heard literally FALSE INFORMATION from D3 Paige about having a public meeting ON LABOR DAY at a library, or she's paying double time to bring in staff? Either way, it's a careless waste of resources.

Subject: Blue Folder - Non-Agenda Items - Explosion Hazard at 2477 Man Beach Blvd must be analyzed CAUTION: Email is from an external source; Stop, Look, and Think before opening attachments or links. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtS8lVVCmis
This link goes directly to the explosion audio/video of a 20-foot liquid nitrogen tank due to failure of both pressure relief valves for a common mode. Shrapnel flies 500m and the gas that would reduce surrounding oxygen content hugs the ground due to the temperature gradient. The 4 38-ft tanks at 2477 Redondo Beach Blvd require a full hazard analysis. LA County Fire determined that it would conduct the analysis only for first responders and not for residential. So RBFD said - not our problem. LACoFD said - not our problem. At this point, the Council has an affirmative obligation to provide safety to residents, instead of permitted a non-analyzed danger.
You can also go to YouTube and search Redondo Beach Tank Explosion and the video is 4th down on the page.
