1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO
THE LEASE AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT(“Amendment”) is dated September 8, 2026, and entered into by and between Beach Cities Health District (“Landlord”) and the City of Redondo Beach, a California charter city and municipal corporation (“Tenant”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Parties” collectively or a “Party” individually).
RECITALS
A. WHEREAS, Landlord and Tenant are parties to that certain Lease Agreement dated February 17, 2026 (the “Original Lease”), for that certain portion of real property commonly known as 514 N. Prospect Avenue, Redondo Beach, California, consisting of approximately 135 rentable square feet, known as Suite Number(s) #324 on the 3rd Floor and described more fully in the Original Lease (the “Premises”).
B. WHEREAS, Landlord and Tenant desire to extend the current Term, which expires September 9, 2026.
C. WHEREAS, Landlord and Tenant agreed that the Rent during the current Term is $405 per month.
NOW, THEREFORE, Landlord and Tenant, intending to be legally bound, agree to the following modifications to the Original Lease.
AGREEMENT
1. Defined Terms. All capitalized terms used herein but not specifically defined in this First Amendment shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Original Lease.
2. Recitals. The recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this First Amendment.
3. Term. The Term of the Original Lease is hereby extended through March 31, 2027.
4. Rent. During the extended Term, the Rent shall remain at $405 per month through March 31, 2027.
5. Original Lease; Entire Agreement. Except as expressly modified by this First Amendment, the terms and conditions of the Original Lease shall remain in full force and effect. The Original Lease, as modified by this First Amendment, constitutes the entire agreement between Landlord and Tenant and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings of Landlord and Tenant in connection therewith. 2 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have duly executed this First Amendment effective as of September 8, 2026.
