5. An agency’s proposed elecronic ling sysem agrees o mee he following requiremens:
1) The saemen of economic ineress led elecronically shall include an elecronic ransmission ha is submited under penaly of perjury and ha conforms o subdivision (b) of Secon 1633.11 of he Civil Code.
2) The agency’s ling ocer shall issue o a person who elecronically les his or her saemen of economic ineress or amendmen an elecronic conrmaon ha noes he ler ha his or her saemen of economic ineress or amendmen was received. The conrmaon shall include he dae and he me ha he saemen of economic ineress or amendmen was received by he ling ocer and he mehod by which he ler may view and prin he daa received by he ling ocer. 3) A copy reained by he ler of a saemen of economic ineress or amendmen ha was elecronically led and he conrmaon issued pursuan o subparagraph (A) ha shows ha he ler mely led his or her saemen of economic ineress or amendmen shall creae a rebutable presumpon ha he ler mely led his or her saemen of economic ineress or amendmen.
4) The agency shall ulize an elecronic ling sysem ha includes layered securiy o ensure daa inegriy.
5) The sysem shall have he capabiliy o uniquely idenfy a ler elecronically when he or she accesses he elecronic ling sysem.
6) The operaonal process for he sysem shall include indusry bes pracces o ensure ha he securiy and inegriy of he daa and informaon conained in he saemen of economic ineress are no jeopardized or compromised. 7) The agency shall provide he public wih a copy of an ocial’s saemen of economic ineress upon reques, in accordance wih Secon 81008. The copy of he elecronically led saemen of economic ineress shall be idencal o he saemen of economic ineress published by he Commission and shall include he dae ha he saemen was led.
8) The agency shall have he abiliy o redac informaon on a saemen of economic ineress prior o posng he saemen of economic ineress on he Inerne. a) 18313.6. Online Posng: Redacng Personal Informaon. (a) A he reques of an eleced ocer, Commission Sa shall redac he following informaon from he ocial’s saemen of economic ineres for purposes of he online posng under Regulaon 18313.5(b) if he eleced ocer has a reasonable privacy concern relaed o an individual’s address, or a family member’s name or oher personally idenable informaon:

ii. The name of he family member.

6. Vericaton
The Fair Polical Pracces Commission is he only agency wih auhoriy under he Polical Reform Ac o adop he saemen of economic ineress and is accompanying insrucons. Therefore, he agency idened above agrees ha i will no make any changes, edis, or redacons o he Form 700 and informaonal maerials approved by he FPPC. The agency undersands ha any relevan supplemenal informaon or raining he agency will provide he lers will be subjec o FPPC review. The agency agrees ha any addional reporng required pursuan o he agency’s rules or regulaons will be in a clearly idened separae documen of form. Failure o comply may resul in revocaon of he elecronic ling sysem.

Polical Pracces Commission.

a $1,000 re-cercaon fee depending on he
complexiy of he sysem review.

Emergency lings – In he even ha he
elecronic sysem becomes inoperable and
unable o receive elecronic lings, he agency
shall, wihin 24 hours, conac he FPPC. The FPPC
will provide an emergency plan ha provides
for he mos mely ling of saemens. The
emergency plan may require paper submissions
or oher ling opons in order o mee he Ac’s
requiremens.

The agency’s conac person idened on he
applicaon on will be he FPPC’s poin of conac
for any issues relang o he Form 700 and
accompanying insrucons. The vendor’s conac
person will be he FPPC’s poin of conac for
informaon on echnology quesons.

The agency is required o mainain adherence
o FPPC requiremens following cercaon and
mus nofy he FPPC of any proposed changes o
he sysem ha would impac crieria oulined in
he legislaon or regulaon.
