A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE STREET NAME CHANGE OF EL RANCHO VERDE PARKWAY TO RIVER RANCH PARKWAY BETWEEN HIGHLAND AVENUE AND NORTH SYCAMORE AVENUE AS SHOWN IN TRACT MAP 20092 WHEREAS, the City of Rialto (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) is a general law city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to and under the provisions of the laws of the State of California; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 34091.1 and 34092 of the California Government Code, the City Council for the City is authorized to change street names where it so deems; and WHEREAS, the City Council, by its statute authority, has previously approved the street name of El Rancho Verde Parkway by way of approving Tract Map 20092 on December 14, 2021; and WHEREAS, AG Essential Housing CA 4 LP, a Delaware Limited Partnership (Developer), the only party having any recorded title interest in the land covered by Tract Map 20092, has requested the street name of El Rancho Verde Parkway be changed to River Ranch Parkway; and WHEREAS, said requested name will not adversely affect adjacent or impact properties or persons since no adjacent properties are addressed from El Rancho Verde Parkway; and WHEREAS, River Ranch Parkway street name has been considered and is not duplicating or similar to existing street names in the City or adjacent jurisdictions and is not in conflict with the public interests and welfare; and WHEREAS, the change of such street name is warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The above recitals are true and correct and are a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2: The portion of El Ranch Verde Parkway between Highland Avenue and North Sycamore Avenue shall be renamed “River Ranch Parkway”.
Section 3: Said name change shall become effective immediately and all underlying Tract Maps associated with Tract 20092 shall adopt the street name change.
Section 4. The Developer shall change out any street name signs affected by this Resolution.
Section 5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County and to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested to by the City Clerk under seal of the City, to be mailed to the following agencies:

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department
United States Postal Service
