A RESOLUTION OF THE UTILITY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE GRANT APPLICATION, ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION FOR THE United States Bureau of Reclamation’s Drought Resilience Program for The WELL “CITY 3A” GROUNDWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Rialto Utility Authority proposes to implement the Well “City 3A” Groundwater Treatment System Project; WHEREAS, Rialto Utility Authority has the legal authority and is authorized to enter into a funding agreement with the State of California; and WHEREAS, Rialto Utility Authority intends to apply for grant funding from the United States Bureau of Reclamation’s Drought Resilience Program for the Well “City 3A” Groundwater Treatment System Project; NOW, THEREFORE, THE Rialto Utility Authority OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Rialto Utility Authority Executive Director, or designee is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and file an application for funding with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and take such other actions necessary or appropriate to obtain grant funding.
Section 2: The Rialto Utility Authority Executive Director, or designee, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the funding agreement with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and any amendments thereto.
Section 3: The Rialto Utility Authority Executive Director, or designee, is hereby authorized and directed to submit any required documents, invoices, and reports required to obtain grant funding. \\\\\
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved and adopted this 14th day of June 2022.
