RUA RESOLUTION NO. ____
A RESOLUTION OF THE UTILITY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH GOALS REPORT AND THE CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT.
WHEREAS, Section 116470 (b) of the California Health and Safety Code specify that larger water utilities prepare a special report by July 1, 2022, if their water quality measurements have exceeded any Public Health Goals (PHGs).; and WHEREAS, The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) mandates agencies to provide a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) regarding information about the quality of the water delivered to customers this past year of 2021; and WHEREAS, Rialto Utility Authority has elected to receive public comment and file the Public Health Goals report and Consumer Confidence Report, and WHEREAS, on June 28, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Rialto City Hall, City Council Chambers, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing to receive and file the Public Health Goals Report and Consumer Confidence Report as identified on Exhibit “A” and Exhibit “B”.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Having found that the Rialto Utility Authority duly issued notice of the Public Health Goals report and Consumer Confidence Report identified on Exhibit “A” and Exhibit “B” as required under Section 116470 (b)of the California Health and Safety Code and The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) mandates, both reports are hereby received. ///
