Updating the City’s Vision
Downtown Vision (2009)
Make the area the heart of Rialto, defined
by its hometown character, gathering
places, and connections to the city and
region. The downtown will have a mix of
uses and activities at and near the existing
Civic Center and Metrolink Station and will
be safe and walkable with transportation
options afforded by the Metrolink and the
Pacific Electric Rail trail.

Foothill Boulevard Specific Plan
Identify the city as a unique, vibrant
community with quality development that
will enhance existing development and
public investment in infrastructure that
creates opportunities for new and
improved development.

Stakeholder Input
Stakeholders envision Foothill Boulevard
and Downtown Rialto as safe, green, and
attractive with bustling areas for shopping
restaurants, entertainment, and places to
play; with well-lit streets and sidewalks for
cars, buses, bicyclists and pedestrians
including people with disabilities; and a
diverse community with culture, arts, and
amenities as well as parks and homes for
people of all ages and incomes.

Participants
Popup Events
Hosts asked that participants respond only
if they live or work in Rialto.
