RESOLUTION NO._____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS 2022-2023 FISCAL BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2022-2023 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfil the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations, between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.; and WHEREAS, concurrent with the adoption of this Resolution the City Council approved that certain Construction Fee Credit and Reimbursement Agreement with Rialto Apartments, LLC, a California limited liability company, providing for reimbursement of certain development impact fees and the City’s share of costs related to installation of a traffic signal.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Appropriate the following expenditures related to the Construction Fee Credit and Reimbursement Agreement with Rialto Apartments, LLC, a California limited liability company as follows:
Regional Traffic Fee Fund, Account No. 250-500-4312-3001, in the amount of $600,949; Street Median Fee Fund, Account 255-500-4314-3001, in the amount of $207,399.
Section 2. Authorize a transfer in the amount of $425,000 from General Fund Unrestricted Reserves into the Capital Projects Fund and a corresponding appropriation in the amount of $425,000 in Account No. 300-500-4312-3001 for reimbursement of the City’s fair share costs of the traffic signal installation.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
