RESOLUTION NO._____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND AMENDING ITS 2022-2023 FISCAL BUDGET TO ADD “Locust Roadway Widening and Rehabilitation Project, CITY PROJECT NO. 230812,” AND APPROPRIATE A BUDGET OF $1,600,000.
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2022-2023 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Administrator; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations, between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rialto requires a five-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which is updated annually; and WHEREAS, the CIP may be amended from time to time to include additional capital improvement projects that were not originally identified in the CIP adopted by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Approve an appropriation from the Measure I fund, Account No. 201-500-4310-3001-230812-01, in the amount of $800,000 and $800,000 from Gas Tax, Account No. 202-500-4317-230812-04 for the “Locust Roadway Widening and Rehabilitation Project, CITY PROJECT NO. 230812.” \\\\
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved and adopted this 25th day of April 2023.
