I have been volunteering for the city of Rialto for 30 years and plan on continuing as I have love for this city as it has given me a community to be proud of. We, as a community have finally reached a milestone that this rock is about to over turn and open Rialto up to success we have never
experienced in our modern era, and I want to be apart of that!
Since being a lieutenant for the Rialto Fire Explores back in the 90s, I have felt a need to give more to this city. Right after graduating from Eisenhower High, I started coaching and continued for 20 years at Jerry Eaves. I have met and worked with literally thousands of kids and in return with their parents here in the city, I know this community, I am this community. Lastly, my career would play a big role in this experience, I have been building communities of residential homes throughout the Inland Empire (4 communities in
Rialto) for the past 20 years. I have managed within home builders and I'm currently finishing the Building Inspector course over at San Bernardino Valley College.
As mentioned previously, I served as a Rialto Fire Explore from 1993-1997 and then coached and held a Director of
Referee position for the Rialto Youth Soccer League from 1997-2017.

Non-White I've been a resident for 10 years in the City of Rialto and have experienced a number of positive changes in our
community. There is so much room for growth and
opportunity for Rialto to become the premiere city of choice pertaining to schools, government, and entertainment. My concern is we are beginning to see an exodus due to our educational infrastructure not equaling those of neighboring cities such as Rancho Cucamonga. Also, our food and
entertainment sector is limiting, and growth in this area will be necessary to sustain a healthy population of residents.
I have a background in talent acquisition and entertainment, and I understand what it means to be both a visionary and an entrepreneur. I am passionate about the City of Rialto and believe my background could contribute to our growth plan and initiatives.
This will be my first time engaging at the civil level in the City of Rialto. Previously, I've served on smaller committees in Miami, Fl, and Atlanta, GA representing the arts community in these circles. Arts of Learning, PAPPY and Aurora Theatre Community initiatives.

I have an opportunity to participate in the building, growth, and improvement of the community within which I am raising my kids, so I'd like to honor that opportunity. My hope is that I can contribute in a positive, meaningful way to this effort.
My husband and I own a home in Rialto, work in Rialto, have two kids who go to school in Rialto, we shop, eat, entertain ourselves, and participate in community activities within Rialto, so we have a vested interest in seeing Rialto be the best it can be. I also have experience working with
environmental justice initiatives as well as other random professional experience that may be helpful for this effort (e.g. property management, subcontracts, government
contracting, public relations, relocation, redevelopment, eminent domain, etc.).
I am a graduate of The City of Rialto's Institute for Progress.
I also worked with the city to do produce a preshow to the Movies in the Park Series put on by the City. Within the city, I sit on a School Site Council, have served on the Parent Advisory Council and the District Advisory Council, am a member of the PTA and District African American Parent
Advisory Council. I also serve on the County of San
Bernardino Civil Service Commission.
