RESOLUTION NO._____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS 2023-2024 FISCAL BUDGET AND APPROVE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS RELATED TO THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF EASTON STREET FROM WEST OF NORTH BRAMPTON AVENUE TO FILMORE AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said the budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Administrator; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations, between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rialto requires a five-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which is updated annually; and WHEREAS, the CIP may be amended from time to time to include additional capital improvement projects that were not originally identified in the CIP adopted by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Approve a revenue increase in the Major Capital Grant Fund, Account No. 22234424-47536-210804-01 of $82,100 for the County of San Bernardino’s Cooperative Agreement for Easton Street.
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved and adopted this 8th day of August 2023.
