RESOLUTION NO. XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE UTILITY SERVICE
WATER AND WASTEWATER BUDGET IN FUND 680, APPROVE
THE TH IRD AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH DOPUDJA & WELLS CONSULTING I N
THE AMOUNT OF $974,881 TO SUPPORT ADDITIONAL
CONSULTING COSTS, AND AUTHORIZE THE INTERIM CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Rialto is currently utilizing the professional services of Stephen Dopudja through his company Dopudja & Wells Consulting, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the City of Rialto has the legal authority and is authorized to amend the Water and Wastewater budget; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rialto inte nds to appropriate funds towards Water an d Wastewater projects pertai ning t o Additional Services for the As -Needed Support Activities, Water Supply Assessment (WSA), Rialto Habitat Nature Center (RHNC) - formally known as Lake Rialto, and Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement for IEUA Effluent Monetization.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That pursuant and subject to all of the terms and provisions of the Budget Act of 2021 (Stats. 2021, ch. 240, § 80) as ame nded (Stats. 2022, ch. 44, § 25), the City of Rialto ’s City Manager, or designee is hereby authori zed and directed to amend the Water and Wastewater budget to support additional costs of $974,881 in consulting expenses.
Section 2: The City of Rialto’s City Manager or designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Budget Amendment and any amendments thereto.
Section 3: The City of Rialto’s City Manager or designee is hereby authorized and directed to submit any required documents, invoices, and reports required to obtain grant funding. \\\\
