RESOLUTION NO._____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, Endorsing A Funding APPLICATION to the California state water resources control board.
WHEREAS, the City Council supports the submission by the City of Rialto (“City”) of a funding application for the City of Rialto Septic-to-Sewer Disadvantaged Communities Project, (the “Project”) prepared and approved by City, to the California State Water Resources Control Board; and WHEREAS, the City will work with the California State Water Resources Control Board to meet established deadlines for entering into a cooperative agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Manager, Utilities Manager, or designee, hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the City of Rialto, a Financial Assistance Application for a financing agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board for the planning of the “Project”.
Section 2: The City Manager, Utilities Manager, or designee, is designated to provide the assurances, certifications, and commitments required for the financial assistance application, including executing a financial assistance agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board and any amendments or changes thereto.
Section 3: The City Manager, Utilities Manager, or designee, is designated to represent the City of Rialto in carrying out the City of Rialto’s responsibilities under the financing agreement, including certifying disbursement requests on behalf of the City of Rialto and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
Section 4: This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and henceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. \\\\\
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved, and adopted this __th day of November 2023.
