RUA RESOLUTION NO._____
A RESOLUTION OF THE UTILITY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE GRANT APPLICATION, ACCEPTANCE, AND EXECUTION FOR THE UNITED States Bureau of Reclamation’s WATERSMaRT AQUATIC ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION PROJECTS for the RIALTO HABITAT NATURE WETLAND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Rialto Utility Authority proposes to implement the Rialto Habitat Nature Wetland Project; WHEREAS, the Rialto Utility Authority has the legal authority and is authorized to enter into a funding agreement with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation; and WHEREAS, the Rialto Utility Authority intends to apply for grant funding from the United States Bureau of Reclamation’s WaterSMART Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Projects for the Rialto Habitat Nature Wetland Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE RIALTO UTILITY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City of Rialto City Manager, or designee is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and file an application for funding with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and take such other actions necessary or appropriate to obtain grant funding.
Section 2: The City of Rialto City Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the funding agreement with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and any amendments thereto.
Section 3: The City of Rialto City Manager, or designee, is hereby authorized and directed to submit any required documents, invoices, and reports required to obtain grant funding.
Section 4: The City of Rialto City Manager, or designee, will work with Reclamation to meet established deadlines for entering into a grant or cooperative Agreement. \\\\\
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved, and adopted on this 9th day of January 2024.
