RESOLUTION NO. XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS 20 23-2024 FISCAL
BUDGET IN THE GEMT FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5)
TYPE-2 AMBULANCES AND TO PURCHASE EMS AND
COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT FOR THEM.
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 20 23-2024 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Approve an appropriation in the GEMT Fund, Account No. 22095175-53050 in the amount of $1,806,831.29 for the purchase of five (5) Type-2 ambulances and to purchase EMS and communication equipment for them.
