RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE RIALTO CITY EMPLOYEES’ ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the City of Rialto and the Rialto City Employees’ Association (“RCEA”) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) between them in effect from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, the City and RCEA are in negotiations to establish wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for a successor Memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, representatives from the City and RCEA met in good faith to discuss the implementation of a 4/10 schedule; and WHEREAS, the City and RCEA mutually agree to implement a 4/10 work schedule following ratification of this Resolution as outlined in Exhibit “A”, Agreement, attached; and WHEREAS, when negotiations conclude, the parties agree that this agreement will be incorporated into the final MOU.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council of the City of Rialto authorizes the City Manager to execute and implement the Agreement (Exhibit A) attached hereto and made a part hereof with the RCEA pertaining to the specific sections set forth in the Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other existing wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment shall remain in full force and effect. \\\\
