RESOLUTION NO. ______
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FUNDS FROM FY 2020 AND 2021 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (HSGP) AND AMENDING ITS 2023-2024 FISCAL BUDGET WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Accept additional funding from the FY2020 and FY2021 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP).
Section 2: Authorize an increase is estimated revenues in the amount of $51,839 (FY20 $29,997 and FY21 $21,842) in HSGP, Account No. 22055187-47514/212-32.
Section 3: Approve appropriations of $51,839 in HSGP fund, Account No. 22055187-52021/212-07 for the FY2020 and FY 2021 Homeland Security Grant Program.
Section 4: Authorize the purchase of the grant equipment pursuant to the grant documents in the amount of $51,839.
