RUA RESOLUTION NO. XX-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE UTILITY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FUNDS FROM THE SONORAN INSTITUTE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE GROWING WATER SMART GRANT AND AMENDING ITS 2023-2024 FISCAL BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 of the Rialto Utility Authority has been adopted by this Rialto Utility Authority Board in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the Rialto Utility Authority; and WHEREAS, the Rialto Utility Authority departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service, and transfers, without the consent of the Executive Director; and WHEREAS, the Executive Director may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by the Rialto Utility Authority Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE UTILITY AUTHORITY BOARD OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Accept additional funding from the Sonoran Institute Technical Assistance through the Growing Water Smart Grant.
Section 2: Authorize an increase in estimated revenues in the amount of $10,000 in RUA Account No. 56707960-47536, Concession Agreement Grant Funding.
Section 3: Approve appropriations of $10,000 in RUA Account No. 56707960-52011, Contract Services.
Section 4: Authorize a Professional Services Contract with a landscape architect pursuant to the grant documents.
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved, and adopted on this 26th day of March 2024.
