RESOLUTION NO. XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE UTILITY SERVICE WATER AND WASTEWATER BUDGET IN FUND 680, APPROVE THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DOPUDJA & WELLS CONSULTING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $325,750 TO SUPPORT ADDITIONAL CONSULTING COSTS, AND AUTHORIZE THE ACTING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Rialto is currently utilizing the professional services of Stephen Dopudja through his company Dopudja & Wells Consulting, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the City of Rialto has the legal authority and is authorized to amend the Water and Wastewater budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Rialto intends to appropriate funds towards Water and Wastewater projects pertaining to Additional Services for the As-Needed Support Activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That pursuant and subject to all of the terms and provisions of the Budget Act of 2021 (Stats. 2021, Ch. 240, § 80) as amended (Stats. 2022, Ch. 44, § 25), the City of Rialto’s Acting City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to amend the Water and Wastewater budget to support additional costs of $325,750 in consulting expenses.
Section 2: Approve an appropriation in the amount of $162,875 from the unallocated Wastewater Reserve Fund Account No. 56600000-30000 into Account No. Account No. 680-500-7860-2011. \\\\\
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved, and adopted on this 14th day of May 2024.
