RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SIDE LETTER OF
AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE RIALTO CITY
EMPLOYEES’ ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Rialto and the Rialto City Employees’ Association (“RCEA”) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ( “MOU”) between them in effect from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City and RCEA had concluded negotiations for this current Memorandum of Understanding to establish wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment on April 9, 2024; and
WHEREAS, City representatives wish to provide a one-time bonus of $1,610.00 and provide a cafeteria cash of $1,800 for all unit employees subject to the terms and limitations written in the MOU and reinforced in the side letter; and
WHEREAS, City and RCEA met in good faith to discuss these changes; and WHEREAS, the City and RCEA mutually agree to implement these changes following ratification of this Resolution as outlined in Exhibit “A” and Exhibit “B”, attached.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council of the City of Rialto authorizes the City Manager to execute and implement the Side Letter Agreements (Exhibit A and Exhibit B) attached hereto and made a part hereof with the RCEA pertaining to the specific sections set forth in the Agreements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other existing wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment shall remain in full force and effect.
