A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING PROPOSITION 1 ROUND 2 INTEGRATED REGIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION GRANT FUNDING CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SANTA ANA WATERSHED PROJECT AUTHORITY AND THE CITY OF RIALTO AND AMENDING ITS 2023-2024 FISCAL BUDGET WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service, and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Accept additional funding from the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority as a sub-grantee for the Proposition 1 Round 2 Integrated Regional Water Management Implementation Grant.
Section 2. Authorize an increase in estimated revenues in the amount of $2,149,748 in RUA Account No. 56707960-47536, Concession Agreement Grant Funding.
Section 3. Approve appropriations of $2,149,748 in RUA Account No. 56607860-53001, Wastewater Capital Improvements, Project No. 226, Phase 85.
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved, and adopted on this 11th day of June 2024. ______________________________
