Please state the reason you want to be a Council Member.
Dear Mayor Joe Baca and Members of the City Council,
I am writing to express my interest in being appointed to the vacant position on the Rialto City Council. As a lifelong advocate for our community and a dedicated public servant, I believe my extensive experience and proven leadership skills make me uniquely qualified to contribute to the continued growth and success of our City. For over 32 years, I have proudly served as a City Commissioner in Rialto, with the past 10 years as the Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission. During my tenure, I have consistently prioritized the needs and aspirations of our residents. Through careful planning and collaboration, I worked with my team to maintain vital community operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, transitioning seamlessly to virtual meetings to ensure progress did not halt. I have also run for City Council three times, which has further deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Rialto. I am passionate about fostering unity, promoting transparent governance, and ensuring that every citizen feels heard and valued.
With my background in management and business, coupled with a calm and pragmatic approach to decision-making, I am confident in my ability to navigate complex issues and lead effectively. I envision a Rialto where strong leadership and community-driven initiatives go hand in hand. By leveraging my decades of experience, I am ready to collaborate with the Mayor, Council Members, and city staff to make informed decisions that serve the best interests of all residents. If appointed, I will bring my dedication, expertise, anc commitment to excellence to the role, ensuring a seamless transition and immediate impact. Thank you for considering my application. I would be honored to discuss my qualifications further and outline my vision for Rialto. Please feel free to contact me at 951-204-4013 or [email protected].
