BACK GROUND The FY 2020 -2021
Annual Action Plan sets forth
spe cific activities and expenditures
using funds received through the
suppl emental Comm un ity
Deve lopment Block Gr ant COVID -19
(CDBG -CV) progr am, administered
by the U. S. Depar tm ent of Housin g
and U rban Dev elopment. Th e City
received a total of $1,33 9,584 in
CDBG -CV funds. W hen a substantial
cha nge (i.e., add ing an ac tivity,
can celing an activity, or redirecting
funds) is proposed to the City's
Annual Action Plan, the City
requires that the public be notified,
and a Public Hear ing be held to
allow the public an oppor tun ity to
comm ent on the pro posed
subst antial changes. The City
Council will conduct a public
hea ring on Tu esday, February 25,
2025,for the adopti on of Su bstantial
Amen dment No.7 . An Ad -Hoc
Commi ttee Meet ing will be held on
Thursd ay, Januar y 23 rd , 2025,to
consider the modifi cation of CDBG -
CV programs and activity funding
levels. T he City m ust howev er
exp en d 100% of their CDBG -CV
funds by February 2027. T he
