RESOLUTION NO._____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS 2025-2026 FISCAL BUDGET AND ACCEPTING FUNDING FROM FY25/26 CALIFORNIA CANNABIS TAX FUND GRANT PROGRAM (CTFGP) WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations, between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Accept additional funding from the FY25/26 California Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program (CTFGP); and Section 2: Authorize an increase in estimated revenues in Account No. 22476997 47560 26CTG-07 in the amount of $495,000.00; and Section 3: Approve an appropriation in the FY25/26 California Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program (CTFGP):
Account No. 22476997 51020 26CTG-10 in the amount of $252,333.20; and Account No. 22476997 51050 26CTG-50 in the amount of $3,658.80; and Account No. 22476697 52022 26CTG-12 in the amount of $1,978.40; and Account No. 22476697 53050 26CTG-48 in the amount of $237,029.60, For overtime, benefits, training and equipment expenses for the City of Rialto Police Department. \\\\
