RESOLUTION NO. ______
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FUNDS FROM FY 2023 AND 2024 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (HSGP) AND AMENDING ITS 2025-2026 FISCAL BUDGET WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Accept additional funding from the FY2023 and FY2024 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP).
Section 2: Authorize an increase is estimated revenues in the total amount of $33,382 in FY 2023 Homeland Security Grant Program, Account No. 22055188-47560-G1123-90 (FY23 $16,916) and FY 2024 Homeland Security Grant Program, Account No. 22055188-47560-G1124-90 (FY24 $16,466).
Section 3: Approve appropriations of $33,382 in HSGP fund, for the FY 2023 Homeland Security Grant Program, Account No. 22055188-52021-G1123-42 (FY23 $16,916) and FY 2024 Homeland Security Grant Program, Account No. 22055188-52021-G1124-42 (FY24 $16,466).
Section 4: Authorize the purchase of the grant equipment pursuant to the grant documents in the amount of $33,382.
