Subject: Proposal for Focused coastal California gnatcatcher Surveys for the Rialto Habitat Nature Center Project

Dear Sachin and Toyasha:

Thank you for providing Carlson Strategic Land Solutions (CSLS) the opportunity to submit this proposal for focused costal California Gnatcatcher (CAGN) surveys. Based on conversations with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, focused CAGN surveys are being requested due to the critical habitat occurring within 2 miles of the Project site. The focused CAGN surveys will be conducted by a USFWS permitted biologist.

3. Reporting – According to the protocol, a report of the results must be submitted to the USFWS within 45 days from the last survey.

Given the timing and demand for surveys, the surveys should be scheduled as soon as possible to hold a spot and work (literature review) must begin on March 10 th.

Below is our proposal to conduct those tasks.
