Rialto Veterans monument project

Proposed location
2 project overview
The Veterans Monument Project represents Rialto's commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of military veterans from all branches and eras – past, present, and future.

The concept was created by the Rialto Veterans Committee.

Three primary granite monoliths arranged in a semi-triangle pattern.

A fourth, smaller-scale monolith will contain the history of Rialto veterans and their service contributions.

Semicircular benches will be positioned along the monument's perimeter to provide seating for visitors. 3 4

Rear monolith
5 Rialto’s veterans have contributed to every major U.S. conflict of the last century. Their efforts in the Inland Empire were particularly vital during WWII, when the region served as a logistical hub. Today, that legacy lives on through the active veteran community and the men and women who join the call to defend our freedom, carrying Rialto's tradition of courage and integrity forward.
