Re: Sole Source Vendor Request- 10-8 Retrofit
A Sole-Source Vendor Request has been submitted for your approval to designate 10-8 Retrofit as a sole-source vendor for installing, repairing, and servicing the City's fleet emergency lighting systems.
The City has previously engaged 10-8 Retrofit to equip, replace, and install specialized safety light systems on various vehicles, including those of the Fire Department, Police Department, and Public 10-8 Retrofit specializes in providing siren and light packages tailored specifically for emergency and fleet vehicles. These packages offer standardized equipment installation to ensure uniformity across all City of Rialto vehicles. The service includes detailed and consistent installation procedures, programming, and equipment mounting, all of which are crucial for the functionality and safety of emergency responders.
Given the unique nature of the vehicles and the necessity for standardization of equipment, installation procedures, and mounting to maintain consistent functionality for the vehicles' operators, the Fleet division is seeking approval to establish a Citywide purchase order in a not to exceed amount of $100,000. This vendor will continue to outfit and maintain the City's fleet's emergency light systems.
The Fleet Maintenance account 10107307-52110 has sufficient funds to support this request. 10107307-52110- | FLEET MAINT/REPLACEMENT CHI -
