A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ALONG EUCALYPTUS AVENUE RELATED TO THE PRECISE PLAN OF DESIGN (PPD) 2022-0083 FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A 117,621 SQUARE FOOT CLIMATE CONTROLLED INDOOR SELF-STORAGE FACILITY LOCATED ALONG EUCALYPTUS AVENUE APPROXIMATLEY 284 FEET SOUTH OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD WITHIN THE COMMERCIAL-MIXED USE (C-MU) ZONE OF THE FOOTHILL BOULEVARD SPECIFIC PLAN, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Rialto, on December 6, 2023, approved PPD 2022-0083 subject to conditions; and WHEREAS, 330 North Eucalyptus, LLC (hereinafter the “Developer”), has submitted a Public Improvement Agreement with security; and WHEREAS, not all public improvements have been completed by the Developer prior to issuance of building permits, and the Developer has requested that the City enter into a Public Improvement Agreement with the Developer to secure the cost of public improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Requisite conditions associated with PPD 2022-0083 have been satisfied or supported with the necessary security for construction of improvements.
Section 2: The City Council hereby approves a Public Improvement Agreement for PPD 2022-0083 with the Developer and accepts public improvement securities in conformance with the requirements therein for public improvements. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Public Improvement Agreement on behalf of the City.
Section 3: The City Clerk shall cause to have recorded with the San Bernardino County Recorder the Public Improvement Agreement. \\\\
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved and adopted this 28th day of April, 2026. _______________________________
