RESOLUTION NO. XXXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA AMENDING ITS 202 5-2026 WASTEWATER FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves an appropriation in the amount of $3,091,098 from available Wastewater Enterprise funds for the Sycamore Ave Sewer Trunk Line Project. Said funds shall be transferred to the Construction Trust Account established pursuant to the Trust Agreement in order to fund eligible capital expenditures authorized through a Final Construction Work Authorization (FCWA) under the Concession Agreement.
Section 3. The City of Rialto’s City Manager or their designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Budget Amendment and any amendments thereof.

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
