RUA RESOLUTION NO. XX-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE RIALTO UTILITY AUTHORITY BOARD OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA AMENDING ITS 2025-2026 WASTEWAATER FISCAL YEAR BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 of the Rialto Utility Authority has been adopted by this Board in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Rialto Utility Authority may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service, and transfers, without the consent of the Executive Director; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RIALTO UTILITY AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIALTO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct.
Section 2. The Rialto Utility Authority Board hereby approves an appropriation in the amount of $3,091,098 from available Wastewater Enterprise funds for the Sycamore Ave Sewer Trunk Line Project. Said funds shall be transferred to the Construction Trust Account established pursuant to the Trust Agreement in order to fund eligible capital expenditures authorized through a Final Construction Work Authorization (FCWA) under the Concession Agreement.
Section 3. The Rialto Utility Authority’s Executive Director or their designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Budget Amendment and any amendments thereof.

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
