South half of the street will require that sewer lateral cross the waterline and electrical utility.
Approximately half of the 12 properties (6 total) have landscaping that may pose challenges to abandoning the existing residential septic systems.
Large trees, retaining walls, wrought iron fencing, etc.
Remedying the challenges will likely increase the onsite abandonment and reconnection costs.
Grant would not cover the cost of private residential conversions.
The project may not be economically viable for residents until their septic systems need to be replaced in the future.
It’s unknown if the existing septic systems are located in the front or rear of the houses.
Letters of interest are recommended for homeowners.
