RESOLUTION NO. 8570
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS 2026-2027 FISCAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING SB-1 GAS TAX FUND BALANCE FOR THE RESIDENTIAL STREETS REHABILITATION ZONE 3 PHASE I, CITY PROJECT NO. 26083 AND THE RESIDENTIAL STREETS REHABILITATION ZONE 3 PHASE II, CITY PROJECT NO. 26084 WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Authorize an appropriation of $1,434,000 from the SB-1 Gas Tax Fund balance to Account No. 22037305-53001-26083-05 for the Residential Streets Rehabilitation Zone 3 Phase I, City Project No. 26083 Section 2: Authorize an appropriation of $76,093.85 from the SB-1 Gas Tax Fund balance to Account No. 22037305-53001-26083-16 for the Residential Streets Rehabilitation Zone 3 Phase I, City Project No. 26083 Section 3: Authorize an appropriation of $2,114,038 from the SB-1 Gas Tax Fund balance to Account No. 22037305-53001-26084-05 for the Residential Streets Rehabilitation Zone 3 Phase II, City Project No. 26084 Section 4: Authorize an appropriation of $74,156.82 from the SB-1 Gas Tax Fund balance to Account No. 22037305-53001-26084-16 for the Residential Streets Rehabilitation Zone 3 Phase II, City Project No. 26084 PASSED APPROVED AND ADOPTED this day of 2026.
